"Mosaicing" is a technique used in medical imaging to stitch small or unconnected images together to create a bigger picture.
The view on the left-hand of the screen shows the limited view doctors have with typical keyhole surgeries. The screen on the right-hand side shows those images being stitched together to create a larger picture.
The software is processing these images in real-time - i.e. at the same time as the scope is capturing them.
This software will help doctors to see clearly during procedures and allow them to work with a greater accuracy.
